Director Statement: "From an early age I fell in awe with animation. My favorite shows growing up were ones with strong comedic moments such as Tom and Jerry, Proud Family, Spongebob Squarepants and Bugs Bunny. The ability to make someone laugh is a great experience and one I really wanted to try and capture in my work like these shows. The film April is a film inspiring to cover personal, and relatable topics that can be viewed in a more inviting fashion through the use of exaggerated, and comedic takes on real world scenarios. With the creation of this film I strive to make a film that people can relate to and laugh at all the same."
